New arrival - Nasty gal S/S14

Ello readers - quick post

I'm quickly typing this on my laptop whilst taking a 5 minute break from revision (oops). The Nasty gal collection is absolutely amazing, and if I could own everything on their line I possibly would. Anywhos because I follow the label on social network Facebook, it becomes easier for me to subscribe to their post. There's a few pieces I literally need to own, but would prefer using their Ebay outlet to buy; as the actual website is quite overpriced, but justified as every single mapped out outfit is to die for.

HURRY THERE IS A 50% OFF MARKDOWNS - WHICH IS VAILD FROM TUESDAY THE 27TH OF MAY TODAY!!! TILL MIDNIGHT

Note; readers should check on the company's website http://www.nastygal.com/ for the official prices for these garments down below, I think that prices range from £25- £ 60

My near fashion debut

Ello readers - here`s a quick post

There was a fashion catwalk at my college a few days back; it was exciting to watch as a couple of student fashion designers showcased their diverse pieces. There was the weird, wacky and wonderfully constructed dresses on the platform. I missed the opportunity to be a runway model (although it was an honour in itself to have been scouted, whilst walking around the school premises) .But when I finally tried on the dress it was quite small on the bust. "Although it was fair to say that I may have neglected my eating habits, fortunately for me I am now back on the diet I promised to have done last new years eve ago.

The dress was made out of this green satin material and puffed out quite like a hoop skirt. I so desperately wished that I could have snapped a quick picture, but I was so caught up in just trying to zip it all in. Anywhos I looked on in envy, at the girl who finally did wear it on the platform (I still cant get over the fact that I could have made a fashion day debut as an actual catwalk model!!) better luck next time I guess

I manage to catch some sneaky pictures; (not the best quality im afraid)

Overall it was a great event.

Part of the Ugly shoe club

Ello readers

This is a short post about the S/S14 collection and the type of shoes you would not expect to be entering the fashion hemisphere; their unflattering, ugly and large Birkenstock sandals.  I own a pair, that I brought excately two years ago (surprisingly found them again hidden away in a cupboard, *strictly serious speaking) and thought that it would be light on my feet for the summer. The sandals are for a fact  designed for the natural form of the foot to allow freedom of movement and all-round support. However a lot of people seem to complain about how overpriced they are *starting form £36-£40*, as much as they are quite cool and comforting, they are not exactly the type of shoes you would want to be wearing in this topsy turvy summer; and you would need to make sure that, your feet are in the best shape; with all manicure included as you would not want to be showcasing a line of unflattering toes (trust me).

Never did I ever expect to see socks and sandals worn together; but here the runway model is doing just that

A plead to check out theysaymagazine

Ello readers

I've been awol for a while, but have been working on some blog posts to publish (so I haven't abandoned you), this post is a desperate plead to check out a new developed alternative style magazine, available online. I've been working on a couple of articles to contribute to the "magazine" which is still exciting for me. Quoted on the site is an extra that basically says

" they say offers writing freedom....and fashion world debates can be shared! So sit back, relax and have a read".

Even if you do not understand a say quote, it's worth having a check, to see what the writing team has created and it's pretty awesome stuff.  http://they-say.co.uk/. Thanks for the support and please continue reading my blog I have some incredible new projects coming up, so watch this space.

Next blog post: Shoes I cannot live without and 18th birthday celebrations
